Kay Cola's hair was worn down by years of chemical treatments, heat and harsh products, and her young daughter's natural curls pushed her toward plant-based care. In 2016, while on tour, she started mixing shampoos and oils at home for both of them. People noticed the results, and the Los Angeles native self-funded a vegan, organic line for all ages.
