Founder Tanya grew up in Maryland with thick, curly hair and spent years fighting frizz, heat damage and styling tools that couldn't handle her texture. In 2022 she brought together engineers, cosmetic scientists and beauty professionals to build at-home tools that work on every hair type. The name stands for 'Beauty In My Eyes'.
